The mystical interplay between Hardware and Software intrigues me. If you more often than not attain impulses to learn about a novel subject or a topic - be it the mechanics of the Universe or the chemistry of our brains - then, you’re like me; a Philomath.
I’m in the fourth year of my voyage of acquiring Integrated Master of Technology (iMTech) in Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) from IIIT-Bangalore, India. At my institute, I’ve explored domains related to Embedded systems development, Internet of Things (IoT) and Computer Vision. In the summers of 2019, I joined the R&D team at Siemens, India, as an intern to co-develop autonomous flight controllers for drones in simulated environments using a hierarchical approach of traditional cascaded PID controllers and Deep Reinforcement Learning. I’ve also acted as a part-time consultant for a couple of months at the beginning of 2020, in a start-up named Tuzo, by building prototypes of Deep Learning models for Fashion. Going forward with the diverse set of skills I’ve gained in the past few years, I’d like to further explore the promising fields of Deep Learning on embedded devices and Systems for ML.
When I am looking for other ways to tune the weights of the neural network sitting inside my skull, I like to play basketball, read books and travel. I practice honing my communication and strategic skills by playing CS:GO or by tuning to a pro-match. My way of giving back to the society is to teach underprivileged kids which I have attempted under a non-profit NGO, Make A Difference, for two years (2017-2019) by teaching Mathematics and English to Grade 7.
Creating this personal webpage marks as an endeavour to give back to the community by transferring the tiny knowledge I possess by posting blogs and tutorials and exhibit the internals of projects I’ve worked on. So, keep an eye on this space if you’d like to familiarize yourself with the various diverse topics I intend to write about: Linux kernel development, Virtual Machines, Sociology, Machine Learning, my unpopular & unasked-for opinions, etc.
